About the Role

Are you a seasoned executive support professional looking to make a meaningful impact at the highest level of South Australian public health?

Randstad has partnered with a pivotal State Government department to recruit a high-performing Executive Coordinator. Directly supporting the Office of the Chief Executive, you will serve as the operational backbone of executive decision-making, information control, and high-level stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Executive & Ministerial Support: Manage complex executive diaries, screen high-level inquiries, and coordinate Parliamentary, Ministerial, and Cabinet correspondence.

  • High-Level Governance & Meetings: Prepare critical agendas, detailed minutes, research papers, and background briefings for ministerial and health leadership forums.

  • Stakeholder & Strategic Liaison: Act as a central point of contact between Executive Directors, Ministerial Officers, Local Health Networks (LHNs), and external public/private entities.

  • Quality & System Control: Implement robust executive record systems, oversee budget processes, and ensure all incoming/outgoing advice strictly meets Government standards and protocols.

What You Bring (Key Selection Criteria)

  • High-Level Performance Under Pressure: Proven ability to manage competing priorities, meet tight deadlines, and work effectively with broad direction in a fast-paced environment.

  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Demonstrated track record of writing complex briefings, reports, and formal business correspondence for senior leaders.

  • Government Protocols & Machinery: Sound working knowledge of government processes, policies, and the dynamics operating between Executive Offices and Ministers.

  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Aptitude: Demonstrated ability to critically analyse complex issues, handle sensitive negotiations, and deliver strategic solutions.

  • Advanced Computer & Systems Proficiency: High-level mastery of Microsoft Office Suite and modern electronic record management systems.

Requirements & Special Conditions

  • Must have a current Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC)

  • Compliance with SA Health Immunisation Risk Category requirements.
